Young hunters were treated to a day of upland bird hunting at nearby Meadowview Preserve on Sunday, 11/5/23.

The hunters, armed with their favorite shotgun, took to the fields promptly at 9:30 AM. Along with their guides, dogs and chaperones, the young hunters had an opportunity to harvest an assortment of pheasant and chukar. Field safety practices, working with trained dogs, and instruction on field dressing combined to make it a satisfying day in the field. And the provided lunch allowed time to relive the excitement and share the experience with fellow hunters.

All fees were paid by our club. And, clearly, a good time was had by all who attended.
