Hunter Education

Delaware County Field & Stream offers Hunter Education to the community to teach hunter safety to juniors, adults, and families. The hunter education class is available to individuals who have registered with the Pennsylvania Game Commission. We strive to provide a fun and educational course. Please make sure you sign up before the classes fill up.

Hunter Education Class Dates

The following dates for Hunter Education classes to be held at Delaware County Field and Stream have been approved: 2017 April 30th

In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1 ,4 ,5 and 9 located at Today’s Hunter & Trapper in PA (on the Pennsylvania Game Commission website)

Special Instructions for All Students

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for sign in. You may bring food & drink to the class. You MUST attend both sessions (FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY) in order to be eligible to take the assessment (test). Directions can be found on the website at www.dcfsa.org. If you need to cancel your reservation please be sure to contact Delaware County Field & Stream.

You can register for scheduled hunter education classes through the Pennsylvania Game Commission website.

Please remember that you are required to study a portion of the study materials prior to attending the Hunter Education Class.
